Tomorrow, March 2, 2009 on the Doctor Ira Breite Show on Sirius 114/ XM 199: Doctor Radio.
I had a great time Friday as a guest on Samantha Heller's Nutrition Show on Doctor Radio (12 PM Eastern Time on Friday's). We spent an hour talking about colon cancer and colon cancer prevention. Hopefully, she will have me back real soon! As I write this, the weather is starting to take an ugly turn here in New York City.
Snow or not, Sirius Doctor Radio will be open for business tomorrow, and we have a great show planned. I am starting off my talking with my boss, Dr. Marc Siegel, the Medical Director of Doctor Radio as well as a columnist for the LA Times, a contributor to Fox News and many other things. We'll be talking about new developments in the Flu, which along with the weather, has hit us here in the East. We'll also talk about bird flu (remember bird flu...well you should!)
If you have had the flu this year, or are worried about what to do if you think you have it, give us a call at Doctor Radio at 1-877-NYU-DOCS.
After this, Doctor Radio Regular and Cardiac Rehab Doctor Dr. Jonathan Whitson will join me. We'll be talking about whether anger can actually kill you! There has been a variety of research that has come out showing that stressful events may increase the death rate (my favorite being soccer matches in Europe) and a recent study seems to show this even more!
Has your spouse ever told you that you were so angry you looked like you could die? Maybe s/he's right. If you have any questions about this give us a call at 1-877-NYU-DOCS!
Then, from anger to cholesterol...its a cardiology day here on the Doctor Ira Breite Show! We'll be talking with Dr. Lawrence Phillips, Cardiologist, about this important topic and answering all of your cholesterol questions!
As usual, we will have a segment of Ask Doctor Ira, where I will happily answer any questions you may have on any medical topic whatsoever.
I look forward to hearing from you at 1-877-NYU-DOCS!!!!
