Monday, December 19th on the Doctor Ira Breite Show on SiriusXM 110: Doctor Radio

Its the holiday season, so of course we are going to talk about stress and fat! You know it!  Starting with stress.  As you may know, recent studies have shown that life expectancy for some groups in the United States is decreasing.  Although a study a year ago showed that white middle aged Americans had a lower life expectancy than before, this latest study shows that this decline is happening pretty much across the board. Find out some of the numbers and some of things you can do about it with me and Dr. Donald Edmundson of Columbia University Medical Center's Center for Behavioral Cardiovascular Health.

We will have GI Update, where I will tell you the latest and greatest in digestive disease and answer your questions at 1-877-NYU-DOCS!

Fat. Ugg.  Why does it like ballooning up in us so much?  Find out how everyone's relationship with their own body fat is different and what you can do to help you lose the weight.  Join author Dr. Sylvia Tara as we talk about her new book, "The Secret Life of Fat."

We will end the show with Ask Doctor Ira, where you can ask me any quesitons about any medical topic at all: anything you forgot to ask your doctors ask me!  Give us a call at 1-877-NYU-DOCS or send me a tweet!
