Monday, July 10th, 2017 on the Doctor Ira Breite Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine Show on SiriusXM 110: Doctor Radio!

Greetings from the Eastern Breite House.  We have a pretty amazing show planned for your summer enjoyment.  Starting with Dirt!  Really. Dr. Jack Gilbert, PhD, of the University of Chicago and director of the Microbiome Institute, will be joining us to talk about his new book, “DIRT IS GOOD: The Advantage of Germs for Your Child's Immune System” (St. Martin’s Press).  (with Dr. Rob Knight and Sandra Blakeslee).  Always wondered about the sandbox? Find out!

After that we will have Gastroenterology update, where I will tell you the latest and greatest in the world of digestive disease and answer your questions on all things digestive at 1-877-NYU-DOCS or by tweet!

Millennials.  Some are entering their mid to late thirties, which constantly amazes me. But still, no one thinks of them as in the "sick" part of life.  Despite this, they are getting strokes.  Join me and Dina Fine Maron as we talk about the story she wrote in Scientific American on this topic.

We will end the show, as usual, with Ask Doctor Ira, where you can ask me any medical question at all and I will be happy to answer.  Anything you forgot to ask your doctor ask me at 1-877-NYU-DOCS!
