Having survived July 13th, I am psyched for the week ahead.  Starting tomorrow, when we have a pretty amazing show planned featuring the Olympics and the human microbiome!  What could be better!

We start with the Microbiome.  Dr. Emmanuel Mongodin of the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Maryland.  Dr. Mongodin will be talking to us about the microbiome, metagenomics, and a new journal, Microbiome, that will be devoited to these subjects.

Summer.  A time to relax. Certainly not a big time to think about colon cancer prevention.
